    The debate between casual wear and formal wear is a sensitive topic in some regions and a non-issue in others. I believe there’s more heat than light being created around this issue. My goal today is to come alongside other overseers who see both perspectives and just sift through some arguments being put forward to help reduce the heat and increase the amount of light being shed on this matter.

    Fashion to me is a way in which I can express myself through my emotions and interests. Similar to a painter, I can use fashion as the blank canvas that the artist would begin with. Fashion represents freedom. It gives me the ability to move freely without consequence; moving from one outfit to the next. Fashion is constantly evolving, while style lasts forever.

    Dress Codes

    A dress code is a set of rules, often written, with regards to clothing. Dress codes are created out of social perceptions and norms and vary based on purpose, circumstances, and occasions. Different societies and cultures are likely to have different dress codes, Western dress codes being a prominent example. When it comes to the dressing code, every individual has a different viewpoint for its implementation.

    Dress codes are symbolic indications of different social ideas, including social class, cultural identity, and attitude towards comfort, tradition, and political or religious affiliation

    It influences not only what we wear, but everything we do, say, and even think. This is why fashion does indeed rule the world.

    There are clothes that could be fashionable to one person but seen as offensive to another. A dress code can be justifiable

    Everyone has their own answer to this question but quickly I realized that it probably means something different to everyone. But when we ask or talk to different people from different backgrounds, carriers, and geographic locations then we got very fascinating answers, and when all come together it creates something pretty and amazing. What I love most about fashion that there is not just one meaning for everyone. Fashion is like a liquid and that’s what makes it so special. Because liquid and take any shape according to conditions.
